Some Bangin' Cookies!

Today Mark and I continued on in our Hersey's cookbook and made some amazing Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Oatmeal cookies... SO good!

Today I am sitting here on my computer once again being a job seeker...

I just had a Bacon Lettuce sandwich for Lunch and I am waiting for my bagel to toast so I can have a Nutella bagel... SO GOOD!

Pop... there goes the toaster...

I am currently watching the Clemson - Alabama football game... and I am sad. Hopefully I will be able to report in about 2 hours that I am very happy... we will have to see. Go Clemson!

Job Interview #1

Today I went on a real interview. It was a little different for me. I had to dress up professionally and actually act like I enjoyed wearing grown-up clothes. I had to talk about me, me, me... but it was short and sweet, 15 minutes long. Next up is interview #2, so yes, I did actually get asked back. I will go out and be with an account executive in action. Oh the joy of having to dress up yet another day. 

Job Searching...

... is not fun. This experience is one that many people have had many times in life, however, I have avoided having interviews and all the jobs I have had I didn't have to interview for. Simple conversations. No getting dressed up and then drilled with a bunch of questions. I have simply been referred by someone and then hired...

What is this teaching me?

Well... I am having to do this thing called trusting in the Lord. I would have said in the past that there was situations that I have had to trust him, but in reality nothing like this before... not only am I looking for a job, I am looking for a job in a place where I have never been before. 

Anyways, just wanted to drop a note and ask for prayer. I pray that I love the situation that I am in , and learn, really learn, that having to trust the Lord with the next step is the best place to be. 

No LeaderTreks...

...  I will let you know SOON what the Lord is teaching me through all of this... it's so much right now, a little bit overwhelming... so just pray for me! I LOVE LeaderTreks, but obviously... like I said No LeaderTreks for me... but there will be no shortage of adventure that is for sure!
